Rufus Bennie" Butch" Cutrer, III
(April 29, 1953 - February 3, 2010)
Rufus Bennie "Butch" Cutrer, III a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away at 6:18 a.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 56, a native of Kentwood and a resident of Amite.
Religious services were held at McKneely and Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite with Rev. Jason Lupo, Bro, Joe Warren and Bro. Ray Werline officiating. Interment was in the Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Renee Varnado Cutrer, Amite; two daughters, Danna C. McDaniel, husband Jim, Franklinton and Shelby C. Simpson, husband Carl, Loranger; five grandchildren, Wade McDaniel, Jordan McDaniel, Chelsi Simpson and Tyler Simpson; mother-in-law, Evelyn Varnado, Amite; sister, Peggy Fortinberry and husband Kenneth, Kentwood; two special nieces, Christy May and Nikki Varnado and other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Paul Varnado and wife, Lauren, Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Sue Naretto and husband, John, Amite.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Juanita Fuller Cutrer, Jr.; father-in-law, Ed Varnado.
