LORANGER – The stage was set for a huge showdown between a longtime power in Class 3A taking on the new kid on the block in #1 ranked Baker. A jam-packed gym witnessed a great game between the Lady Wolves and Lady Buffaloes with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line for both teams.
The Lady Wolves trip back to the Sweet 16 was cut short by Baker as the Buffaloes used a strong second half to come up with a 54-47 win over Loranger.  The Lady Wolves came out and started the game in good fashion with a 13 point first quarter.
