Oak Forest enters regular season finale on five-game win streak

Before Oak Forest Academy baseball’s regular season finale last Monday, the Jackets were riding the high of a five-game win streak that got off and running last week. Last week’s sweep in a series with Hillcrest Christian helped the Jackets clinch the No. 1 seed in district.

In game one of the series, Hayden Dupuy came away as the winning pitcher in a 5-3 game one win by throwing 10 strikeouts. OFA took the lead and held on to it for the rest of the evening after a three-run rally in the fourth inning. Dupuy even showed up offensively by getting two hits, a run, and an RBI. Mario Campo got three hits and a run, and Trevor Robinson also turned in two hits and a run.
